In 2006, I started a coffee roasting and retail business in Billerica, Massachusetts. Equipped with an MBA from Babson, a solid business plan I had developed as part of my MBA sales and marketing for entrepreneurs' class project, and 12 years' experience in Finance and Accounting, I thought I was prepared for success.
Three years later, after trying to manage everything myself while balancing the responsibilities of a young family, I felt disillusioned. I was far from my envisioned track for success and struggled even to keep up with my books!
